This policy explains what personal information Company Name collects, why we collect it, and what choices you have. It applies to our website, our client area and the services we provide.
1. Information we collect
When you create an account or place an order we collect the details needed to provide and bill for the service: your name, email address, postal address, phone number and, where relevant, a company name and tax identifier. We also record the services you order, your invoices and your support correspondence with us.
Our servers automatically log technical information such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to operate the service, investigate abuse and diagnose faults.
2. Payment information
Payments are handled by our payment providers. Full card numbers are not stored on our systems; we retain only the reference the provider returns and the last digits needed to identify a saved payment method.
3. How we use your information
We use it to set up and run the services you order, to issue invoices and take payment, to send service notices such as renewal reminders and maintenance announcements, to provide support, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Marketing email, where offered, is sent only with your consent and can be turned off at any time.
4. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, to remember preferences such as language and theme, and to secure forms against cross-site request forgery. Any analytics or advertising cookies used on this site are described separately in our cookie notice, where one is published.
5. Sharing
We share personal information only where it is needed to deliver a service or comply with the law: with domain registries and registrars when you register or transfer a domain, with payment providers, with suppliers whose infrastructure or software we use to operate the service, and with authorities where we are legally required to respond. We do not sell personal information.
6. Retention
Account and billing records are retained for as long as your account is active and afterwards for the period our tax and accounting obligations require. Server and application logs are kept for a short operational period. Content stored within a terminated service is removed in line with our terms.
7. Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, ask for deletion where we have no continuing obligation to retain it, and object to certain processing. Requests can be raised through a support ticket.
8. Security
Access to customer data is restricted to staff who need it, connections to our client area are encrypted in transit, and credentials are stored in hashed form. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we ask that you use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication where it is offered.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The version published here is the current one, and material changes will be announced through the client area or by email.
10. Contact
Privacy questions and requests can be raised through a support ticket in your client area.
